श्रीमति राधारानी, ​​श्री कृष्ण की सर्वोच्च भक्त के रूप में, उनकी सेवा करने में सबसे बड़ा आनंद प्राप्त करती हैं। वह सभी गोपियों और भाग्य की सभी देवी (लक्ष्मी देवी) की उत्पत्ति हैं जो भगवान की सेवा में लगी हुई हैं। वह भक्ति सेवा के मार्ग पर चलने वाले सभी भक्तों का मुख्य आधार, आदर्श और अंतिम आश्रय है। पहले श्रीमति राधारानी की कृपा प्राप्त किए बिना श्री कृष्ण के पास जाना भी असंभव है।

हरे कृष्ण महा-मंत्र वास्तव में श्रीमती राधारानी की प्रार्थना है। ‘हरे’ शब्द ‘हारा’ से लिया गया है जो आंतरिक ऊर्जा या कृष्ण की ह्लादिनी शक्ति को दर्शाता है। यह कोई और नहीं श्रीमती राधारानी हैं। जब कोई महा-मंत्र का जाप कर रहा होता है, तो कोई कह रहा होता है: “हे कृष्ण! हे राधा! कृपया मुझे अपनी भक्ति सेवा में संलग्न करें”। कृष्ण के पास सीधे पहुंचना कठिन है, लेकिन वे भक्त-वत्सल हैं, जो हमेशा अपने भक्तों को प्रसन्न करने के लिए उत्सुक रहते हैं। इस प्रकार एक भक्त की मनोदशा श्रीमति राधारानी की करुणा का आह्वान करने की होती है, जो तब भक्त को श्रीकृष्ण से सलाह देती हैं। चूँकि कृष्ण श्रीमति राधारानी से आसानी से प्रसन्न हो जाते हैं, इसलिए वे भक्त को अपनी सेवा में आसानी से स्वीकार कर लेते हैं।
